On Friday’s “The View,” the co-hosts reacted to Donald Trump‘s missile strikes in Syria, sparking a big fight. Watch below.

As Gossip Cop reported, Trump ordered missile strikes in Syria on Thursday night, a few days after the Assad regime used a chemical gas attack on its own people, killing more than 80, including children. In an unexpected response, the president authorized the military action without congressional approval. More than 50 Tomahawk cruise missiles were launched at a Syrian airbase.

Earlier this week, Trump was criticized on “The View” for initially reacting softly to Assad’s actions. Now on the ABC talk show, Joy Behar kicked off the live broadcast by saying, “It’s one of these days where we can’t have fun right away because we woke up to the hottest topic in the world.” Brian Ross of ABC News was welcomed onto the program to help digest the news.

“I barely slept. It’s very upsetting,” Behar told him. She brought up Trump’s years-old tweets telling then-president Barack Obama NOT to strike Syria. Ross suggested the mogul is now “learning it’s not so easy to be president.” The veteran journalist added, “It’s very complicated, as he’s finding out.” Behar was skeptical that Trump could be trusted, and also pointed out that these same people he’s now concerned about, he would not allow into the country under his refugee policy.

After a commercial break, the panelists continued the discussion sans Ross, and it got extremely heated. “I love what he did,” Jedediah Bila said. “I’m very proud of President Trump.” Sunny Hostin countered, “You’re not supposed to be able to do it without Congress, though.” She went on to say, “A president cannot unilaterally act like this without Congress, and there’s good reason for this… President Trump did not have the authority to do this without Congress.”

And Behar thought, “If he had not gone to Congress, President Obama, they would’ve impeached him.” She further said, noting Assad’s alliance with Putin, and Trump’s Russia ties, “I don’t trust anything that goes on between Trump and Russia right now, and neither should you.”

But Bila thought Trump couldn’t “go to the U.N.” with this, and she and Hostin continued arguing. Paula Faris then became especially upset, telling Hostin, “If you can’t allow yourself to be affected by looking at those pictures of those children not being able to breathe and the children dying, you have to question your humanity!”

Behar clearly thought that crossed a line, saying, “Ladies, please, this is not personal about questioning anybody’s humanity, Paula.” Still, Hostin went on to say, “I think it showed a dictator. It showed someone who was willing to unilaterally act without Congress, and we’ve got to be very careful with that, because what is his plan?!”

In response, Bila pointed out Hillary Clinton encouraged airstrikes hours before Trump’s move, and stated, “There’s a reason that around the [world], you have people that represent our allies saying, ‘Thank you,’ because America is a leader in this free world.” But as the women continued to spar, Behar repeatedly said, “One at a time, please!” She eventually declared, “I’ve had enough of this.”

And that was that. Check out the videos below.
