“The View” co-hosts on Friday reacted to Donald Trump’s controversial press conference. Watch below.

As Gossip Cop reported, Trump held a press conference on Thursday in which he bashed the media, complained about the state of America, denied links to Russia, and bragged about his administration. The president rambled throughout much of it, and was slammed on social media by celebrities. Now the talk show’s panelists weighed in.

After showing a highlight reel of Trump’s comments, Whoopi Goldberg asked, “What’s he distracting us from? What went on yesterday?” Guest co-host D.L. Hughley cracked, “The last time I saw a guy ranting and raving like that, the police came and got him.” And Joy Behar declared, “He lies. We know he lies. Everybody knows it now.”

“He’s also given to hyperbole, as they say. He exaggerates everything,” Behar said, adding, “In a way it’s not funny. He’s talking about a nuclear holocaust…. These types of like really volatile statements that he makes, I think, are really dangerous.” Still, she added, “As a comedian, I felt sorry for him. It was like he was bombing for 77 minutes.”

Sara Haines didn’t watch the presser live, but after checking Twitter, “I knew I was in for entertainment,” she said. Paula Faris said of the president’s behavior, “It’s kind of a strategy… inundating us with different storylines.” And while Haines and Behar criticized his non-answers, Faris said, “There was moments of angst, angry, humorous moments. But I think the general consensus afterwards was he opened himself to the press for 77 minutes.”

But Goldberg went on to complain, “This is a gentleman who talks a lot about fake news, but puts fake news out there.” Hughley then quipped, “Thank god the first black president wasn’t that dumb.” After a commercial break, Behar complained about the alleged costs of the First Family’s travel and Melania living in New York, before Goldberg slammed Trump for saying he “inherited a mess” from Barack Obama.
