‘The View’ Hosts Slam Cara Delevingne As “Bitch” For Awkward Interview (VIDEO)
Cara Delevingne was slammed by Whoopi Goldberg and Nicole Wallace on Wednesday’s “The View.” The hosts of the daytime talk show blamed the supermodel for her awkward “Good Day Sacramento” interview, expressing that they felt she acted like a “bitch.” Watch the video below.
As Gossip Cop reported earlier, the anchors of the local CBS morning show attacked Delevingne on air during a July 28 interview, accusing her of being “irritated” and disinterested in promoting her movie, Paper Towns. Delevingne later responded to the controversy on Twitter, explaining that her blasé attitude was just an attempt to be funny. “Some people just don’t understand sarcasm or the British sense of humour,” she tweeted.
Celebrites including Zach Braff, Boy George, and “Game of Thrones” star Maisie Willaims also took to Twitter to defend Delevingne; however, the hosts of “The View” weren’t nearly as supportive of the actress. “When you’re a famous movie star, and you get to go on a local news show to promote a movie that you want people to spend $18 to go watch, you don’t get to act like a bitch,” co-host Wallace said. Goldberg added, “Suck it up. She’s not a famous actress. She’s a newbie… nah, honey, I’m famous.” Goldberg continued, “There’s professional and there’s unprofessional. We’re checking you, babe. We’re checking you. That was not the way to handle that, Cara.”
