“The View” co-hosts on Friday debated whether Anderson Cooper’s eye roll to Kellyanne Conway was sexist. Check out the video below.

Cooper was interviewing Conway via satellite for CNN earlier this week. When she touted Donald Trump’s win in Michigan, the veteran newscaster rolled his eyes. A GIF of the moment quickly went viral, with many finding it amusing. But others have accused Cooper’s response of being sexist.

After showing the clip on the ABC talk show, Joy Behar asked, “With all the eye-rolling that we do at this table, does it make the point that it’s not sexist?” Sara Haines responded, “Stupidity does not have a gender. What she’s saying there, and I remember seeing that live, I was thinking, ‘Seriously?'” Noted Behar, “This is also the one who claimed [Trump] was using alternative facts. Remember that? So when the eyes roll, it’s like, ‘not again.'”

Jedediah Bila didn’t think it was a sexist moment, but suggested there was a conservative-liberal double standard. She pointed out that Hillary Clinton accused Bernie Sanders of sexism in one of the primary debates, and argued that if it was a Democratic politician or surrogate in Conway’s spot, “there’s segments of the population on the left that would say that [eye roll is] sexist.”

Still, she said, “I think universally we need to say this isn’t a word that should be tossed around lightly.” Paula Faris also fell somewhere in the middle, saying, “I have the utmost respect for Anderson Cooper. At the end of the day, he’s a journalist. He needs to show utmost interview etiquette.”

Meanwhile, comedian Hasan Minhaj, sitting in for “Guy Day Friday,” amusingly confessed, “I would love to look into Anderson Cooper’s eyes, so I don’t know why we’re complaining. Have you seen those baby blues?” Watch the video below.
