“The View” Co-Hosts: America Is Having “Nervous Breakdown” (VIDEO)
On Tuesday’s “The View,” the co-hosts suggested America is having a collective nervous breakdown. Watch below.
Kicking off the live episode, Whoopi Goldberg asked, “Is it me or does it feel like the entire country is having a nervous breakdown?” She gave examples of people on edge, and then pointed to the turmoil in Washington. “Has all of that craziness now bled into our everyday life?” she wondered.
Sara Haines thought so, saying she now finds herself “really angry” over trivial things while watching the news. “I never used to be this irritable,” she insisted, going on to declare, “I think it’s a worldwide nervous breakdown.” Joy Behar also believed political issues are to blame.
“We’re in the middle of something very important right now. It’s like the country is being run by the Russian mob,” she complained, going on to draw comparisons to Watergate. “That’s why people are having a nervous breakdown.”
Jedediah Bila said technology is only making things “worse,” because she’s now “plugged into news all the time.” She admitted, “Maybe it’s my fault. My brain never shuts off.” Behar then joked it’s time for “Prozac in the water.” Check out the full video of the discussion below.
