“The Ranch” Trailer: Ashton Kutcher And Danny Masterson Reunite For Netflix Series
Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson reunite in the first trailer for their new Netflix series, “The Ranch.” Watch below!
“The Ranch” was first announced as a new streaming comedy show last June. Kutcher and Masterson came together to executive produce the project, about 10 years after the end of “That ’70s Show.” The program centers around two adult brothers, played by the longtime real-life friends, who begrudgingly live on a Colorado ranch with their parents.
Debra Winger and Sam Elliott co-star as the mother and father, with Elisha Cuthbert portraying Kutcher’s love interest. Masterson’s character, who is nicknamed “Rooster,” will likely remind fans of Hyde from “That ’70s Show.” In one scene showcased in the preview, he tells his wannabe-football player brother and cranky father as they argue, “This is getting good. I’m gonna grab a beer. No punches til I get back!”
Another moment has Masterson cracking, “When I sit on the porch and drink alone, I’m an alcoholic. But when you’re here, we’re just two brothers bonding!” For the actor, it’s his first regular gig since TBS’ “Men At Work.” For Kutcher, this is his big TV return (though digital) in the wake of “Two and a Half Men” ending last year.
Two of the producers on board also come from “Men.” Twenty episodes of “The Ranch” have been ordered so far, with the first 10 premiering on April 1. Check out the trailer below!
