Monday marks exactly 10 years since “The O.C.” premiered on FOX, changing teen dramas — and television — forever.

From spawning the careers of stars like Rachel Bilson and leading to reality shows like “Laguna Beach” and “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” the show’s legacy is still felt today.

But one of the most distinguishing features of “The O.C.” was its near-unprecedented incorporation of music, with bands such as Death Cab for Cutie skyrocketing to mainstream fame after being heard on the series.

And who can forget the sing-along-worthy themesong, “California,” by Phantom Planet?

There were even six official Music From The O.C. soundtracks released between 2004 and 2006.
