‘The Hateful Eight’ Trailer: Quentin Tarantino Violent New Movie Releases First Footage (VIDEO)
The Hateful Eight first full trailer has just been released, and this eighth offering from writer/director Quentin Tarantino is not surprisingly full of action and violence. Watch the trailer below!
The Hateful Eight is a western set shortly after the Civil War, and features eight main characters who are forced to stay together in a mountainside cabin due to a treacherous snowstorm. As is the case with every Tarantino production, violence ensues.
The characters include bounty hunter John Ruth (Kurt Russell), his fugitive Daisy Domergue (Jennifer Jason Leigh), former union soldier Major Marquis Warren (Samuel L. Jackson), southern renegade Chris Mannix (Walt Goggins), the mysterious Bob (Demian Bichir), the hangman Oswaldo Mobray (Tim Roth), cow-puncher Joe Gage (Michael Madsen), and Confederate General Sanford Smithers (Bruce Dern).
The Hateful Eight is as action-packed and violent as anything Tarantino has done to date. The trailer features shootouts, horse-carriage chases and, of course, Tarantino’s brand of dark, twisted humor. It isn’t exactly clear what will go wrong in the cabin that the “Hateful Eight” are holed up in, but we get a hint as Russell’s character says, “One of them fellas is not what he says he is.”
The Hateful Eight opens in select theaters on December 25, and expands nationwide on January 8, 2016. Watch the full new trailer below, and tell us what you think.
