Bachelorette Recap: Andi Dorfman’s Suitors Strip For Charity, Craig Gets Drunk
Andi Dorfman’s suitors drove the ladies wild when they stripped down to next-to-nothing for charity during a group date on Monday’s “The Bachelorette.”
But before the men were asked to learn their Magic Mike-inspired routines, Dorfman chose Eric Hill for her first one-on-one date.
You’ll recall, this season of “The Bachelorette” is dedicated to Hill, who tragically died in a paragliding accident after his appearance on the show.
During Andi and Eric’s date on the beach, the two built sand castles and flew kites until they were whisked away by helicopter to the top of a snow-covered mountain for snowboarding lessons.
Later, explorer Eric told Dorfman the harrowing story of how he once feared for his life in Syria, and his desire to one day start a family.
Andi gave him a rose.
For the group date, the guys were given a performance by male exotic dancers before learning they would be putting on a live striptease of their own, with the proceeds from their special event being donated to charity.
After practicing their choreographed dance routines, the men oiled themselves up and gave jaw-dropping performances in front of a packed room of screaming women.
While Dorfman sat down and got to know a few of the guys later on in the group date, tax accountant Craig had one too many drinks and went looking for the “Bachelorette” for some unexpected and unwanted one-on-one time.
Craig was clearly drunk when he was nicely called away from Dorfman by one of the other guys.
“They do get that they get they are here on a date right?” Dorfman asked after Craig jumped in the pool with all of his clothes on.
“This is not at all what I expected,” she added.
Craig got so out of control that producers had to quiet him down and take him home, making Dorfman question some of guys’ intentions.
At the end of the group date, sports medicine manager Marcus was given a rose for being both confident and humble during his striptease.
For her second one-on-one date, Dorfman and farmer Chris had a date at a racetrack, where they watched the horses and met a couple who had been together for 55 years.
Chris later confessed that he was once engaged, and the two had a heartfelt conversation before Dorfman gave him a rose.
The two kissed afterwards while being serenaded by the band This Wild Life.
At the rose ceremony, Craig tried to apologize to Dorfman for being drunk by singing an original song, but in the end it was useless.
Dorfman eliminated Craig, Nick S., and Carl during the rose ceremony.
