Bachelorette Emily Maynard Faces Rejected Suitors, Confronts Kalon on Men Tell All
10:00 pm, July 16th, 2012
RECAPMonday’s “The Bachelorette: Men Tell All” special brought back some of the season’s most beloved – and hated – contestants.
More than a dozen of Emily Maynard’s former suitors gathered to reflect on the show and reminisce over never-before-seen footage.
But the show wasn’t without any drama.
Chris, who was dramatically eliminated after the hometown dates, pointed out that Ryan, who referred to Maynard as a would-be “trophy wife,” was “there for the wrong reasons,” with the other men agreeing that his confidence bordered on cockiness.
Ryan explained, “When you’re in a setting like this with 25 guys coming in and one female, that search… for your own territory is tough.”
“I was looking for my wife,” he insisted.
Maynard, however, called Ryan out for being a “sweet-talker,” noting he was “good at going around questions.”

Complaints of arrogance were also lodged at Kalon, who arrived in the first episode via helicopter.
“You were just there for the spotlight,” Stevie told the upcoming “Bachelor Pad 3″ contestant.
Kalon attempted to defend his behavior, claiming he wasn’t in his “environment” and insisting that not all of his controversial comments were indeed “offensive.”
But perhaps the most interesting moment came when he attempted to apologize for calling Maynard’s daughter Ricki “baggage” (prompting her to memorably tell him to “get the f**k out“).
“I’m obviously sorry the way things worked out for us,” he told her, adding, “I am trying to use it as a growing experience in my future relationships.”
But Maynard wasn’t buying it, calling McMahon’s apology the “biggest load of sh*t I’ve ever heard.”
“Give me some credit,” she told him.

Heartbreak among some of the guys, including Chris and Sean, was also discussed.
“I loved that girl 110 percent,” Chris said, adding that he had a “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity on the show (even though he’ll soon appear on another reality competition – “Bachelor Pad”).
Chris, though still obviously sore from his elimination, told Maynard that he “respects” her decision.
Sean admitted he still has “very strong feelings” for Maynard, and that it never occurred to him he was going to be eliminated shortly after he confessed he was in love with her.
“No one wants to feel inadequate,” he said, adding later that he’s still “hopeful” he will find his future wife.
Maynard explained that her feelings for Sean were “genuine,” adding, “What girl wouldn’t want Sean?”
But on Sunday’s season finale, Maynard will choose between her final two bachelors – Jef and Arie - and, presumably, get engaged.
