“The Bachelorette: The Journey So Far” allowed fans to relive the special moments that stood out so far during Andi Dorfman’s quest for love this season. Highlights included the limo arrivals, Chris Bukowski crashing the first cocktail party, the men stripping for charity, a Boyz II Men concert, and battle on the basketball court. Plus, viewers got to take another look at Dorfman’s romantic 1-on-1 dates with Chris, Nick V., JJ, Dylan, Marcus, and Eric Hill, who died in April after a tragic paragliding accident.
The special also showed never-before-seen moments cut from last week’s dramatic episode in place of the tribute to Hill. Last week, Hill took Dorfman aside and accused her of not always being her true self with him, calling her a “TV actress.” Dorfman broke down in tears after he said she wasn’t being natural and that she often had a “poker face.” The assistant district attorney was so angry and upset that she lashed out at the group before storming out, and Hill left the dramatic rose ceremony early.
The new footage on Monday’s special showed Nick V. going to console Dorfman, who went back to apologize to the guys soon after. The men were clearly irritated with Nick V., accusing him of stealing time with her and being arrogant. Dorfman eventually sent Tasos home because she didn’t want to “lead him on.” At the end of the rose ceremony, Dorfman told her remaining suitors that they were headed to the South of France.
