WATCH: Teresa Giudice Gives Tearful Apology To Fans On Housewives Reunion
Teresa Giudice made what may have been her final “Real Housewives” appearance on Tuesday’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey” reunion, and apologized to her fans for her crimes (video below).
Broken into three separate episodes, the final “Reunion” installment came to a tearful end when the attention turned to Giudice’s looming prison sentence. As Gossip Cop has reported, the reality star was sentenced to 15 months behind bars for bankruptcy and mortgage fraud. She is expected to surrender in January, and will serve her time at Danbury Federal Correctional Institute in Connecticut. Her husband Joe will care for their four daughters, and then when Giudice completes her sentence, he is expected to serve the 41 months he was sentenced to.
As Gossip Cop reported at the time, the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” season finale featured the cast’s shocking, in-the-moment reactions to Giudice’s sentence when it was handed down. Now on the reunion, all the stars turned solemn and reflective when host Andy Cohen asked the group to share something they learned this season. Giudice didn’t really answer the question, but instead said, “I just wanna apologize to all my fans out there that I let down. And, you know, through all this, I’m going to make myself a better person and grow.”
A montage of some of Giudice’s most infamous moments was shown, including some of the most “painful,” but also some of the most special, such as the birth of daughter Audriana. Giudice teared up and told Cohen, “You’re making me get emotional,” and he admitted he was feeling that way, too. Looking to the future, Giudice said, “You never know. Maybe you’ll see me on a cooking show, or something else.”
After the episode finished, Cohen simply tweeted, “Emotional end,” and shared a photo of himself with Giudice. Check out the videos below.
