Teresa Giudice Returning For “Real Housewives Of New Jersey” Season 7
Teresa Giudice is returning for season seven of “Real Housewives Of New Jersey,” it was announced on Monday.
As Gossip Cop has reported, the series’ fate was up in the air in late 2014 when Giudice was sentenced to prison. During her stint behind bars last year, executives remained mum on if and when the show would come back, and whether she would be a part of it. But now a new season has officially been ordered.
“I am very excited to be back,” Giudice tells the official Bravo blog, The Daily Dish. “For me, this season is all about letting go of the past and embracing the future. People are calling me Teresa 2.0.” Indeed, the site says the episodes will “follow Teresa as she mends the relationships in her life following her release from prison in December 2015.”
And with Giudice’s house arrest ending last week, as Gossip Cop reported, cameras can now follow her anywhere. Of course, she won’t be the only one on the show, though. Also returning are sister-in-law Melissa Gorga and former cast member Jacqueline Laurita. It’s unclear at this point who else will round out the cast. No premiere date has been announced.
The news comes months after Us Weekly prematurely reported last August that Giudice was officially set to return. Gossip Cop also previously corrected wrong stories about “RHONJ” being canceled, Joe Giudice making his own season 7 deal, and Giudice herself supposedly secretly filming before she began serving her sentence. Gossip Cop will continue to have accurate updates as they happen.
