Teresa Giudice NOT Set For Post-Prison, L.A.-Based Real Housewives Spinoff
Teresa Giudice is NOT planning to move to Los Angeles after her prison stint in order to boost her teenage daughter Gia’s music career, despite a report in Us Weekly, the same outlet that once falsely predicted Giudice would get a “Real Housewives of New Jersey” spinoff show as soon as her husband Joe received his own prison sentence.
13-year-old Gia and her group 3KT recently debuted a music video cover of the Britney Spears song “Circus.” According to a so-called “insider” for Us Weekly, the younger Giudice “wants to be in movies too.” The magazine’s source says Teresa might head to California for new adventures, because she “sees herself with a spinoff like Atlanta’s NeNe Leakes got!”
Giudice, of course, was sentenced to 15 months behind bars for her role in an elaborate fraud scheme that led to Joe’s own 41-month sentence. She’s set to serve her time at the Danbury Federal Correctional Institution in Connecticut. There have been a lot of rumors swirling around the “Real Housewives” star as she prepares to enter prison, including false speculation that she’s currently filming the show’s new season.
We’re not sure why Us Weekly keeps flogging this spinoff angle with Giudice, but it’s simply not true. A rep for the reality star denies that there’s any truth to the story.
