Teresa Giudice Breaks Down Crying In New “GMA” Interview – WATCH VIDEO
Teresa Giudice broke down in tears during a new interview broadcast on Tuesday’s “GMA.” Watch below.
The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star sat down with ABC’s Mara Schiavocampo to discuss her post-prison life, as well as husband Joe’s ongoing time behind bars. It was when asked about trading places with him that a nerve was hit. “I’m getting emotional, sorry,” Giudice said with tears in her eyes.
Schiavocampo asked if she wanted to “take a break,” and the reality star quickly replied yes. She then darted from the couch and off camera. Earlier in the interview, Giudice called the separation “hard.”
“We email every day. We talk every day. I see him every week,” she noted, revealing that Joe is working in the prison as a plumber and taking classes. Of their four daughters, she said, “They miss their dad, of course, tremendously, just like I do. They’re doing as well as to be expected.”
Reflecting on her own prison release last December, Giudice said, “It was an incredible feeling. One of the best days of my life.” And she rejected the notion that life after Joe’s release is unclear due to the chance he may be deported. “I think our future is not uncertain. He’s gonna be home, we’re gonna be together, and that’s what I’m looking forward to,” she insisted.
As for now having a so-called “softer side,” Giudice said, “You do grow, and you learn from your experiences, and that’s obviously what happened to me.” Check out the video below.
