Twilight won several awards. Kellan and Ashley won for best scene stealers and Taylor won for best actor in a fantasy. Rob won for best vampire and he won best dramatic actor for Water for Elephants. HP didn’t deserve to win everything, it won what it deserved to win. There is no backlash, people are just sentimental over HP because it’s over now.

But why do people say that the Twilight books are better than the films? Both are drivel; believe me, I own all four of the books and I saw Twilight and New Moon in a theatre. However, in comparison to Twilight, The Host was an amazing read! It’s one of my most read paperbacks, so if people are saying “STEPHANIE MEYER IS AWESOME (and/or) CRAP!!11!11!1one!!11!!” then really they should read all the books by that author, no?
Second of all: Kristen Stewart. Srsly. Why didn’t it win more awards? Kristen Stewart brings nothing to the role of Bella, and although Bella is meant to be “average”, a LEGO BRICK has more personality than her (THANK YOU THE OATMEAL). And yet, despite the fact she has no personality, she’s a Mary-Sue; she’s far too intelligent and yet she never flaunts it; she falls over, but Edward always catches her; she describes herself as ugly, and yet when she gets turned into a vampire she looks perfect? (and also, why do ugly people never get turned into vampires? …yeah just wondering) I mean, I’m in honor classes at school and I flaunt it. xDD
*takes deep breath in* Next on my list to rant about (cuz I rarely rant on these things. I’m nice like that.) Why do we not have books in this? There’s music… tv… films… oh yeah, that’s because teenagers apparently “don’t like to read books”. PFFT. But wait, if we did have that, Hunger Games would win. (By the way, the first book in that series was great; the other ones were a real let-down. If you want a good dystopian style novel, go with “The Knife of Never Letting Go” by Patrick Ness; now that is one of my *favourite* books of all time.
