Ted Williams Checking Into Rehab

Ted Williams is going to rehab, Gossip Cop has confirmed with a rep for Dr. Phil, who convinced the formerly homeless man to seek treatment.

He’s en route to rehab right now.

The man with the golden voice taped two segments over the weekend with Dr. Phil.

The first, which aired yesterday, was just so the host could get more familiar with Williams.

The second episode, which airs today, featured a reunion with his family.

Sources close to the situation tell Gossip Cop that Williams and his family were kept in separate hotels before the reunion.

Fast forward to today: After the incident on Monday night in which Williams got into a verbal altercation with his daughter Janey, Dr. Phil had Williams come back for a third taping.

Today Williams admitted on the program that he’s currently using alcohol, a rep for the show confirms to Gossip Cop.

Away from the cameras, away from the media, Dr. Phil convinced Williams to go to rehab.

Following the incident with her dad, Williams’ daughter said, “He’s consumed at least a bottle of Grey Goose a night, at least. That’s not including the Coronas he orders, that’s not including Budweisers he orders, that’s not including the other alcohol, the wines. He drinks – heavily.”

The segment in which Williams admits he’s still drinking will air tomorrow.

    Alcohol ruins so many lives. I wonder why nobody has started a class action law suit against alcohol makers.

    They don’t express the true dangers of liquior on the can. It can cause enlarged heart, high blood pressure, liver disease, seizures, death, over dose, depression, digestive disorders, and much more. It’s addictive!

    It’s just as bad as a ciggerette. For real!

    You can’t get second hand buzz from liquior but you can get killed if you ever come in contact with a drunk driver.

    Families who have an alcoholic in their life go through a lot of crap. It’s heck for them.

    My heart goes out to families who deal with alcoholisim.

    If you or anyone out there is a dang good lawyer, start a law suit against beer/ alcohol makers. It can be done.

    Why is it that when someone new becomes an interest in the news around the country, all of a sudden, Dr. Phil pops up and sticks his phoney pyscho babble into their lives.

    Ted Williams has been through a lot in his life and has been trying to straighten it out himself. Where does Dr. Phil get the nerve to step in and say “You have to do things this way or it won’t work”! All Ted asked was to see his family in Ohio before going to rehab and Dr. Phil is tricking him out of doing so.

    Does Dr. Phil only help people who are in the lime light or does he help the average person without a dime in their pocket. NO, if you can’t pay and you’re not in the headlines, he won’t have anything to do with you. I believe he is a scam artist just like his website about dieting.
