Zac Efron and Taylor Swift Sing Duet, Address Dating Rumors on Ellen (VIDEO)

Taylor Swift and Zac Efron visited “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” for an interview to air on Tuesday, and the host put The Lorax co-stars on the spot about incessant romance rumors.

“We are not a couple,” Swift stressed, despite DeGeneres’ playful, repeated suggestions about the pair dating.

The singer joked that while you hear about co-stars falling in love all the time, it’s more difficult when it’s an animated movie.

Swift also mentioned that she’d given Efron a guitar lesson, and the two sang a charming duet.

    The media is going on with that story and Zac has not gone on the record and said “no I am not dating Lily Collins”. Until an official denial is out, one can assume it’s true.

    aquarius64: Why is it embarassing for Lily Collins? Ellen is just playing about and both Taylor and Zac make it clear they are not dating: Taylor with her “pathetic single girls” thing and Zac even admits he spent Vday with a girl who he cooked for (most people think this was Lily). He’s being smart and keeping his private life private. Why should he waste his time commenting on tabloid rumours? The smartest thing to do is ignore them unless they are detrimental.

    Well he commented on a tabloid rumor about him and Swifty. It makes Lily look like a piece of tail. Like he’s ashamed of her not even to mention her name. If you don’t want to talk about your private life don’t let yourself get papped. Yes it’s great publicity…for the guy because having two starlets linked to him at the same time makes him look like a stud.

    Lily played the PR game with Taylor Lautner and she got burned for it. He dumped her 3 months before the official announcement. People were still presuming Taylor and Lily were together last August when the TaylorSquared reunion stories were going strong at the time (and no denials from him). It looked like he was making a fool out of Lily, which is probably why the reported bad attitudes at the Abduction premieres. Point – if you’re willing to throw your dignity out the window to get some ink, in the end it comes back to bite you.
