Taylor Swift Brings U.S. Women’s Soccer Team On Stage At Star-Studded Concert
Taylor Swift paid tribute to the U.S. Women’s Soccer team at her star-studded concert in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Friday. Check out the photos and videos below!
The show at MetLife Stadium was special from the start, with Swift announcing earlier in the day that close friends Haim would be one of the opening acts, in addition to her normal openers, Shawn Mendes and Vance Joy. And then when Swift later hit the stage, she brought out The Weeknd for a special joint performance of his song “Can’t Feel My Face.” And that wasn’t all.
The U.S. Women’s Soccer Team, fresh off winning the World Cup, was in attendance as special guests. But when it came time for “Style,” during which Swift has been bringing out celebrities to walk her runway stage at all the different stops on her “1989 World Tour,” the athletes came out with their trophy, in addition to sharing the spotlight with Heidi Klum.
And that STILL wasn’t all. During “Bad Blood,” Swift hosted a video reunion. Hailee Steinfeld, Lena Dunham, Lily Aldridge, and Gigi Hadid all hit the stage. There were also stars in the audience, ranging from Katie Holmes to fomer “Bachelorette” Andi Dorfman.
Now we’re left wondering how Swift will top all that for her second show at the venue on Saturday night. See all the photos and videos below!
