MAG: Taylor Swift “Using” Harry Styles For Publicity

Taylor Swift is “using” Harry Styles for publicity, reports In Touch.

A supposed “Nashville source” tells the mag, “She sees all the press her pal Selena Gomez gets from dating Justin Bieber,” noting, “She’s very calculated when it comes to dating the right men.”

The mag goes on to claim that Styles will help Swift “change her image,” quoting the purported “insider” as saying, “Taylor wants to break into pop music from country.”

“She uses men to push her career forward,” alleges the source.

In Touch further adds that Swift only dates heartthrobs such as Styles, because she loves being a “global object of envy.”

Uh-huh.

Let’s take a moment to clear up a few things here.

Swift is much more recognizable than Styles, so if one of them were to use the other for publicity, it would probably be him.

Also, Swift’s latest record Red was one of the biggest pop records of 2012, so we’re pretty sure she doesn’t need any help breaking into that genre.

Regardless, a source tells Gossip Cop that the tab’s conspiracy theory is totally false, saying, “She’s dating him because she likes him.”

Shocking, huh?

    Also, keep in mind Swift ISN’T as popular as 1D in the UK, and 1D isn’t as popular as Swift in the USA.
