Taylor Swift And Tom Hiddleston ‘Ellen DeGeneres’ Interview Is NOT True
Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston are not slated to do a joint interview on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show,” despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this rumor. We’re told there are no plans for any such interview.
According to the Mirror, Swift and Hiddleston are getting ready for their “first TV interview as a couple.” The British tabloid alleges the two are preparing to “break their silence.” Without adding much more information, the paper silly states they’re “planning to finally go public with their relationship” with DeGeneres, with the hope that the interview will “help swing things back in her favor” after ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris blasted Swift on Twitter last week.
A so-called “source” is quoted as saying in the Mirror, which picked up its story from the Daily Star, “The simple truth is that Taylor is in love and, as well as showing off her new man to her fans, she feels a friendly interviewer like Ellen could really help boost their standing as as power couple, as well as Tom’s Hollywood career.” But the story is entirely untrue. Swift’s rep says the tabloid’s tale is false. And a DeGeneres production source exclusively tells Gossip Cop there is “no interview” booked for the talk show host with Swift and Hiddleston.
Sadly, Gossip Cop is not entirely surprised the British tabloid got the story wrong. In the past, we corrected the paper when it inaccurately reported that Simon Cowell ordered Harry Styles to make peace with Swift. Gossip Cop also busted the daily when it falsely alleged in 2013 that Swift was going to star in a spy movie called The Secret Service. Much like that tall tale, time will also prove us right when Swift and Hiddleston do not sit down for an interview to discuss their relationship with Ellen DeGeneres.
