Taylor Swift NOT Seeking Tom Hiddleston Approval For Songs On Next Album, Despite Report
Taylor Swift is NOT seeking Tom Hiddleston’s “approval” for songs about him on her next album, despite a fabricated story. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this nonsense. We’re told it’s “completely false.”
According to OK!, “Hiddleston must have been one amazing boyfriend” because Swift is “letting her ex have a say in the songs she writes about him.” A so-called source tells tabloid, “Taylor sends him drafts and loops him in on how the process is going, and nothing will be recorded without Tom’s consent.” The often disproven publication then alleges the singer’s relationship with the British actor was fake before quoting its supposed “source” as saying, “This was their deal right from the start of their fauxmance… It’s a contractual situation and the result is to make them look good.” As for what Swift will do about Calvin Harris, who she dated right before Hiddleston and with whom had a somewhat acrimonious split, the magazine’s tipster adds, “Calvin is another story.”
Maybe it’s time for a real story. Despite the tabloid’s claims about Hiddleston getting “approval” and having a “say in the songs [Swift] writes about him,” Gossip Cop is told by a source close to the actor that no such deal exists. Our impeccable insider says the OK! report is “completely false.”
To say the magazine’s track record about Swift and Hiddleston is abysmal is putting it kindly. Just last month, the outlet published a made-up cover story about Swift being pregnant, yet neglected to mention it in its latest article. The amnesiacs at the same publication, which now claims the actor has “approval” over her songs, claimed only three weeks ago that Swift and Hiddleston were in a “feud.” Seemingly, the tabloid can’t keep its lies straight.
