Taylor Swift to Hackers: There Are NO Nudes, Naked Pictures Of Me!
Taylor Swift has returned to Twitter after being hacked on Tuesday, and says she has nothing to hide in terms of the naked pictures hackers threatened to release. After acknowledging the hack and thanking Hayley Williams of Paramore for alerting her, Swift tweeted, “PS any hackers saying they have ‘nudes’? Psssh you’d love that wouldn’t you! Have fun photoshopping cause you got NOTHING.”
As Gossip Cop previously reported, Swift first took to her Tumblr account to address the hacking situation. “My Twitter got hacked but don’t worry, Twitter is deleting the hacker tweets and locking my account until they can figure out how this happened and get me new passwords,” wrote Swift. “Never a dull moment.” She titled the post, “Well, now I’m awake,” and tagged it “#Hackers gonna hack hack hack hack hack.”
Earlier in the day, a series of tweets appeared on Swift’s account, directing her millions of followers to check out @Lizzard and @Veriuser, both of whom claim to be linked to the Lizard Squad hacking group. The Lizard Squad has claimed responsibility for a number of high-profile hackings recently, including a major Facebook and Instagram outage this week. The @Lizzard account threatened, “Will post Taylor Swift’s nudes when this BTC wallet hits 3BTC.” The message refers to Bitcoin, an online currency.
As of now, there’s no evidence that any naked pictures of Swift have surfaced. Last year, during the huge Hollywood hacking scandal that exposed nude pictures of dozens of stars, there was never an indication that legitimate naked photos of Swift existed. Gossip Cop will have updates.
