Taylor Swift Asked By Nancy O’Dell If She’s Going “Home” With “Lots Of Men” After Grammy Awards — WATCH FULL VIDEO
Taylor Swift was asked by Nancy O’Dell if she would be going “home” with “lots of men” after the Grammy Awards. Really. See the video below.
Swift was being interviewed by the “Entertainment Tonight” host before the ceremony when O’Dell said to her, “You’re going to walk home with more than maybe just a trophy tonight. I think, lots of men.” Swift rightfully appeared shocked at the comment and remained stone-faced as she replied, “I’m not going to walk home with any men tonight.”
O’Dell’s remark seemed to be based on Swift’s often-sensationalized love life and the media’s tendency to portray her as she’s boy-crazy, something she lampooned in her “Blank Space” video. Afterward, “Entertainment Tonight” attempted to portray the interaction humorously on their website, making it seem like Swift willingly gave them some kind of light-hearted confession.
“Sorry fellas!” wrote the site. “Despite the plethora of talented men who attended the 2015 GRAMMYs this years, Taylor Swift confessed to ‘ET’ that she’s not leaving with any of them on Sunday night.” The article went on to highlight how Swift followed up her response to O’Dell by saying she only planned to hang out with her friends before going home to her cats.
To be fair, Swift did then joke, “Men get me in trouble.” But we just can’t see O’Dell posing the same kind of post-show hookup question to any of the male nominees. The exchange raised eyebrows on Twitter as well, where one blogger wrote, “Disappointed in Nancy for saying this to her. Props to Taylor for not punching her in the face.” See the clip and full video below, and tell us what you think.
