Taylor Swift Met Gala Fashion Through The Years (PHOTOS)
Taylor Swift is co-chairing the Met Gala on Monday night, and now Gossip Cop looks back at the outfits she’s worn over the years to one of the biggest nights in fashion. Check out the gallery below!
Swift made her Met Gala debut in 2008, wearing a Badgley Mischka gold-and-bronze gown that sparkled under the lights. She returned in 2010, opting for something more classic. That year, the singer looked ethereal in a cream gown from Ralph Lauren Collection that accentuated her shoulders with a ruffle detail.
Swift was back in 2011, but took more of a risk on the red carpet, sporting a J. Mendel gown that featured a long train and a lace overlay. In 2013, she again wore a J. Mendel gown that was black with a geometric detail. The following year, Swift brought some serious glam to the Met Gala with a classic and elegant light pink Oscar de la Renta gown that featured a dramatic train (above).
No telling how this year’s theme, “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology,” will inspire Swift, but Gossip Cop is betting it’s bound to be epic! Check out the photos below of Swift’s Met Gala’s fashion through the years.
