Taylor Swift Taking Legal Action To Keep Girl Squad Quiet?
Taylor Swift is NOT taking legal action to ensure no member of her girl squad ever says anything negative about her publicly, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
According to the National Enquirer, Swift is taking measures to “protect her image” following Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris all slamming her, and she’s supposedly preventing her friends from ever doing the same. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “Taylor had lawyers draw up a contract she’s pushing friends to sign. It stipulates they can’t say anything negative about her publicly, or they’ll be fined $25,000 for each offense.” The outlet’s dubious insider adds, “They’ll also be forced to make a public apology for maligning her,” and goes on to state, “Everyone’s balking, especially Taylor’s high-powered friends like Selena Gomez.”
Despite how absurd this story sounds, Gossip Cop still checked in with a source close to Swift, who laughed off the tabloid’s tale before assuring us it’s simply “not true.” Similarly untrue was the Enquirer’s recent report alleging Swift kicked Gomez out of her squad. Gossip Cop corrected that piece of fiction, as well as the publication’s false claim Tom Hiddleston is trying to get Swift pregnant. This new article is just the latest in the magazine’s long line of fake Swift stories.
