Taylor Swift is giving Lady Gaga credit for her romance with Calvin Harris.

While a number of different people have taken credit for introducing the couple and encouraging the stars to get together, Swift holds Gaga responsible for sparking the relationship. Back in March, Swift tweeted after Gaga’s engagement and her well-received Oscars performance, “Is it just me or is Lady Gaga, like, fully LIVING right now?!? #goals.” A flattered Gaga replied, “@taylorswift13 wow you’re a sweetheart! Life is friends, family, and love! We all see that in you, your prince charming will come!”

It was a few weeks after exchange that Swift and Harris began heating up. Now four months later, they’re still going strong, with Harris just saying in an interview on Friday that he’s “insanely happy” with the superstar. Swift showed her appreciation for Gaga early Saturday morning, after a well-known fan lamented about his own love life on Twitter.

Swift wrote to him, “@alexandergold Go read Gaga’s tweet that she sent me a few months ago. It’s good love luck. Because it’s not a tweet. It’s a magical spell.” Gaga caught wind of the message and wrote to Swift later Saturday, “.@taylorswift13 I only cast happy spells! Unless there’s bad blood. I have a separate cauldron for that. Happy for u.”

Gaga included a picture of Prince Eric and Ariel from The Little Mermaid, and Swift retweeted the post. Some have interpreted the “Bad Blood” reference as a Katy Perry diss, since that’s who the song is believed to be about. The shade may have been accidental, though, as Gaga and Perry mocked feud rumors when they hung out at the Met Gala in May. Tell us what you think in the comments below!
