Taylor Swift: “My Exes Can Write Songs About Me” Too (VIDEO)

Taylor Swift has written plenty of songs about her exes, and now she says her former boyfriends are free to do the same.

“If I’m gonna write songs about my exes they can write songs about me. That’s how it works,” the singer says in the April issue of InStyle UK.

“I’m not gonna complain about it. I’m not gonna sit there and say, ‘I’m the only one who can write songs about this relationship,’” continues Swift. “It’s fair game.”

    Come on TSwift, that was a stupid thing to say. Of course they CAN write songs about you, but they probably won’t because they’re not immature little children.

    Even when artists do write songs about past loves or whatever, hey don’t usually come right out and say that. I don’t think she’s ever said which songs are about which exes, but still.

    She, at one point or another is going to have to start writing songs about something else. Men will stop dating her in fear of becoming another number one song for tween girls. I can not listen to her music. And her live performances are terrible. Lets hope she grows up and decides to write a song or two that will inspire young girls to change the world instead of learning only that men are “trouble” and they are to blame for everything. Take some responsibility and keep your mouth shut about your love life.

    Rihanna hasn’t written or said one bad word about Chris Brown even after he almost killed her. Taylor writes a revenge song because a dude couldn’t be bothered with her anymore. Yeah, people can be real jerks sometimes aye Taylor.

HER problem however is that her exe’s (most of them) are well known public figures. they don’t have anonymity and as soon as she pens some angry “revenge” song, the whole world goes “Oh thats John Mayer” or “Oh that Harry Styles”, next thing the whole world is branding them as womanizing bastards. strangers are criticising them and they didn’t get to tell their side of the story. she is out to humiliate them which is very childish of her mainly because she knows that most people will know who she’s referring to. non famous people easily get away after being castrated in a song but taylors exe’s definatley don’t have that priviledge. and it’s ridiculous to suggest they need to write songs about her. they won’t because 1. they aren’t as spiteful as she 2. she is already famous. they don’t want to look like bullies they just aren’t even interested in making her look bad. the only way she can get out of this rut is to start practicing some humility and taking responsibility for her mistakes. other than that, shes fucked (where breakup songs are concerned anyway). i think it makes her feel better to know that everyone else knows who she is taking aim at. she thinks its cool but it isn’t.
