VIDEO: Taylor Swift Takes Ice Bucket Challenge, SCREAMS
Taylor Swift accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on Saturday. The superstar got cold and wet for a good cause alongside Jaime King.
The pair were outside rehearsals for next week’s MTV Video Music Awards, joined by a group of people, likely dancers and others involved with the award performance. There was a lot of screaming once the buckets were dumped.
Swift nominated Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran and Emma Stone to take the challenge. Plus, she and King also flashed all the cash they’d be donating to ALS research.
Earlier on Saturday, Robert Downey, Jr. posted his own challenge video, following in the very cold footsteps of many other celebs. It’s especially nice to see celebrities to only dousing themselves, but contributing monetarily as well. Every bit counts.
It was also great that Swift took time out of her busy schedule to take part. The singer is prepping to perform what is to believed to be the new single off her upcoming album. Swift will host a live stream on Monday when she’s expected to announce the long-awaited news.
Swift, of course, is no stranger to the VMAs. She’s probably not, however, used to dumping freezing cold water on her head in the midst of rehearsals.
