Taylor Swift Fan Mail Found in Dumpster

Taylor Swift is missing some fan mail.

A box containing hundreds of letters addressed to the singer was discovered in a Nashville recycling dumpster over the weekend.

The trashed mailings had been sent from all over the world, many of them covered with stickers, pictures, and other decorations meant for Swift.

They had been addressed to a P.O. Box that receives fan correspondence on behalf of Swift’s management company.

“Taylor gets thousands of fan letters everyday and they are delivered to her management office. After the letters are opened and read, they are recycled,” said a spokesperson for Swift.

The rep added, “The only explanation for any letters being unopened would be that a small batch of mail that was supposed to be delivered to Taylor was accidentally put with letters headed for the recycling center.”

Swift’s team said they were grateful the matter had been brought to their attention, and that the mail would be retrieved.

    It’s strange how everything is happening to this girl lately. They had better check the post office or postal people. Somebody did that so that they can have some news on her. She must be hot now. Tabloids pay people to go in celebs trashcans, etc. just to make news for them to sell tabloids. Isn’t Taylor on tour, so if she is, then it must not be her who did it. She doesn’t open fan mail, it is usually opened 1st by one of her assistants. They take safety precautions . Also after it is read, all that she can do is throw them away. She can’t keep all that mail; she would become a hoarder.

    true, this is hardly news, most fan mail isn’t read for popular stars and is destroyed straight after reading too.

    If Swift gets so much fan mail that she’s just throwing them away, she can hire some furloughed employees to take their day off work to sort through digital scans of the letters. They can sort them into files like – I love what you do (includes “come to prom with me”) – Can you help us raise awareness? and the always fun to read fan mail “I want to write your name in cheese” (Psycho’s).
