Taylor Swift Thanks “Mysterious” Fan For Knitting Her A Sweater — SEE PHOTO!
Taylor Swift is used to getting all kinds of gifts from fans, but one in particular caught her by surprise on Sunday. See the full photo below!
One concertgoer at Swift’s show at Denver’s Pepsi Center on Sunday presented the superstar’s mom with a sweater she knit by hand. And it’s not just any sweater. The design actually features a portrait of Swift meant to resemble the Polaroids she’s taken for her 1989 album.
“Someone knitted this sweater for me of a Polaroid of myself and gave it to my mom tonight at the show,” Swift wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of herself donning the long-sleeved shirt on a private plane. “It has very quickly become my everything. Thank you, mysterious knitter.”
Not surprisingly, a number of people in the post’s comments are claiming responsibility for the thoughtful present, but it doesn’t seem the actual knitter’s identity has been confirmed yet. One follower even remarked, “Honestly I’m disgusted with how many people are taking credit for this JUST to get follows/likes. whoever the REAL creator is, just know that this sweater is a beautiful piece of art and hopefully one day we’ll find out who it really is.”
Swift is actually a fan of knitting and needlepoint herself. She one made close pal Ed Sheeran needlework that showed off their friendship and mutual love of Drake. And while the singer is probably no doubt used to getting gifts from fans at her shows, she’s also known for surprising many of her supporters with personally-chosen tokens of affection, such as when she sends out “Swiftmas” presenters. Check out the sweater below, and tell us what you think!
