Taylor Swift Fan Arrested: Christian Ewing Crashes Stage, Fights With Security (Video)
A supposed Taylor Swift fan was arrested on Saturday for sneaking into her concert, crashing the stage, and brawling with security guards. See video below.
As Gossip Cop reported, Swift’s “1989 World Tour” stopped at San Diego’s Petco Park over the weekend. As it turns out, though, Avril Lavigne wasn’t the only “Complicated” thing about the show. A man named Christian Ewing is accused of sneaking into the stadium, apparently without a ticket. Despite security on his tail, the 26-year-old somehow made it all the way to the stage.
Ewing’s stage-crashing came as Swift was strutting down her runway for “Style.” Security guards immediately descended on him, but he resisted, leading to a physical altercation. In the end, one guard was left with a broken rib, though it’s unclear if it was one of Swift’s personal hired hands, or one of the venue’s workers.
Ewing was ultimately arrested, and is still in jail days later, as he hasn’t yet ponied up $35,000 in bail money. He’s facing charges of both felony and misdemeanor battery, as well as obstruction. Thankfully, Swift was not harmed in an way, and was in fact on a different part of the stage at the time.
And though she appeared to, well, shake it off, it was probably scary nevertheless. In fact, the incident comes just a few weeks after she was nearly yanked off stage by a fan who managed to grab her leg mid-performance. Swift’s world tour continues through December. See video of Ewing’s on-stage take-down below.
