Taylor Swift, Tom Hiddleston NOT Planning Interview To Prove Relationship Isn’t Fake, Despite Report
Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston are NOT planning a joint TV interview to prove that their relationship isn’t fake, despite a ridiculous webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s not true.
Ever since the actor and pop star began dating last month, there have been bogus conspiracy theories about the two possibly feigning a romance to drum up publicity. And now according to HollywoodLife, Hiddleston has devised a plan to prove that they’re the real deal. A so-called “source” tells the webloid, “Tom feels like if the public sees him and Taylor together it will shut down all the rumors that their relationship is fake once and for all.”
The outlet’s dubious insider then goes on to claim that Hiddleston “doesn’t really care what people think,” but his management team supposedly told him, “If the public sees him as a ‘fake’ it will hurt his career.” The site’s questionable source further says Swift loves the idea of the two sitting for an interview together and “is on board to do whatever makes him happy.”
Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Hiddleston to get to the bottom of this alleged strategy, and we’re exclusively told that he and Swift simply have “no plans for an interview.” Unfortunately, we’re not surprised by the webloid’s made-up story. We previously called out HollywoodLife for falsely alleging that Hiddleston was dating Swift to land the James Bond role. And shortly before that piece of fiction, Gossip Cop corrected the site’s phony claim that the singer wanted to pose with Hiddleston for the cover of Vogue. This latest report is just more lies from the frequently unreliable webloid.
