Taylor Swift NOT Expanding “Bad Blood” Video Into Movie And Comic Book Series, Despite Made Up HollywoodLife Story
Taylor Swift is NOT expanding her “Bad Blood” music video into a movie and comic book series, despite a wholly fabricated story by a site that seemingly spends more time making up stories than fact-checking. Gossip Cop can exclusively report that the claim is one giant lie, designed to dupe readers and presumably search engines into believing it has “exclusive” content. We’re told there is NO truth to the report.
According to a site that has richly earned the nickname HollywoodLies, Swift wants to “expand her music video [for “Bad Blood”] into a comic book series, a movie and more.” The webloid then claims the reason Swift cast so many stars in the music video is that she’s angling to “produce a sequel in the form of a ‘full feature-length film.’” The site even has one of its make-believe sources saying, “Taylor has plans to make these characters into a comic book series… [and] a full feature length film as well.”
HollywoodLife fabricates stories about a slew of celebrities, many of whom have called out the unreliable site. And Swift is often a target of the webloid. In the past, Gossip Cop has exposed the blog for repeatedly making up stories about the singer feuding with her friend Selena Gomez. We have also called out the site for wrongly linking Swift to a string of men, including Matthew Gray Gubler and Hozier.
Much like so many stories on HollywoodLies, the latest about her turning the “Bad Blood” video into a comic book series and full-length movie is also 100 percent manufactured. A source close to Swift exclusively tells Gossip Cop, “There is no truth to this rumor.”
