Taylor Swift is the victim of a new death hoax.

The sick rumor was started by a fake “MTV News” Twitter account claiming the singer had been found dead in her home on Sunday.

It is 100% false.

Swift is NOT dead.

The real MTV never reported the phony “death.”

It’s just the latest hoax to take hold thanks to a phony news report on social media.

In recent weeks, Mariah Carey and Montell Jordan were victimized by similar pranks.

I don’t understand why these are even posted unless it’s a major network like CNN that made the error. No one’s going to believe a fake MTV account. The only time I ever read about these death hoaxes are here.
