Taylor Swift Performs Concert After Cutting Finger Cooking (PHOTO)
Taylor Swift sliced a finger open while cooking on Saturday, but that didn’t stop her from performing later in Dallas. She even played guitar during the concert with her bandaged left thumb, which she decorated with her favorite number 13. See the photo below.
On Saturday, Swift tweeted a picture of her left hand with her thumb wrapped up, along with the message, “Band aids don’t fix kitchen knife related injuries.” In addition to sharing news of her cooking accident, the singer was also referencing her hit “Bad Blood,” which has the lyric, “Band-aids don’t fix bullet holes.”
As well documented by Swift herself, and photos shared by her friends, the performer truly enjoys cooking and baking. It’s unclear, at time point, what exactly Swift was cooking when she accidentally cut herself with a knife. Gossip Cop has reached out to her rep for more details, but has yet to hear back.
As noted by Gossip Cop, the injury did not affect her concert at the AT&T Stadium, where she showed her injury to the audience and played guitar as she performed the song “Fifteen.” Swift also held hands with special guest Ellie Goulding while they sang the latter’s hit, “Love Me Like You Do.” See the photo below of Swift’s bandaged left thumb, and share your thoughts.
