Taylor Swift “Turning Off” Friends By Being “Copycat”?

Truth rating: 0

Taylor Swift is “trying to reinvent herself in the image of her closest pals — and it’s starting to turn them off!” claims OK! magazine. According to the tabloid, Swift is “going to her self-assured pals for everything from diet tips to fashion inspiration” because she’s sick of people “knocking her goody-two-shoes persona.” “Taylor loves Lorde’s grungy look and calls her constantly asking her advice on what to wear,” a so-called insider tells the tab.

OK! adds that the singer is on a “drastic weight-loss regimen” to look more like model pal Karlie Kloss. The “source” says Swift is “coming off a little creepy and pushing her girlfriends away.” Huh? If Swift is such a “copycat friend,” as the mag claims, why are her girlfriends still hanging out with her? Regardless, the story is made up.

Of course, OK! has a spotty record when it comes Swift, having printed false story after false story about her. Recent examples include wrongly claiming Swift was dating Brenton Thwaites, her co-star in The Giver, and had even said Swift was “dumped” by Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel, whom she never even dated in the first place. Anyway, a source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the magazine’s report is “so bogus and not true.”
