Taylor Swift Fans’ Cars Get Broken Into During Houston Concert
While Taylor Swift entertained a sold-out show on Wednesday at Minute Maid Park in Houston, thieves broke into around 10 concertgoers’ cars in a nearby parking lot, Gossip Cop confirms with the Houston Police Department. The robbers stole laptops, CDs, and even a backpack with school supplies. No one has been arrested yet.
The break-ins took place on a parking lot that sits a few blocks away from the concert venue and in front of a grocery story. We’re told there’s one surveillance camera, which the police are looking at to help find the crooks. Apparently, the thieves were in such a hurry that, in some instances, they smashed the windshields and windows of cars, but nothing was even stolen.
It’s also unclear right now, but it seems the robbers may have hit more than one parking lot in the area.
Swift, of course, was unaware of any of the incidents. She was busy performing a number of her hits, including “I Know Places,” “Clean,” “Love Story, and “Style” around the time of the break-ins. Swift was also joined during her Houston show by Wiz Khalifa. The two sang his hit, “See You Again.”
Gossip Cop will update as more information emerges about the car break-ins during Swift’s concert.
