Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris Buying Home Together In Nashville?
Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are not looking to buy a home together in Nashville, despite an entirely fabricated and poorly researched report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this tabloid story. We’re told it’s “not true.”
According to OK!, Harris and Swift are “scoping out pads in the county music capital because Taylor’s parents still live there.” The tabloid then quotes a presumably made-up or woefully ill-informed source, who claims Swift wants to buy a place in Nashville because she “misses [her parents] and the slower pace.” The magazine adds that Harris has no problem moving closer to Swift’s parents because he “gets along great” with them, and he and the singer often fly to Tennessee to visit with them. “They’re starting to plan for the future, and Nashville would be a great place to raise kids,” offers the know-nothing source.
There’s one giant problem with the tabloid’s wholly inaccurate story. Swift has owned a home in Nashville for years. She’s even done lots of interviews and photo shoots at her Nashville place, which famously features a 1913 Steinway grand piano and a koi pond in its living room. In any event, a Swift insider assures Gossip Cop this is yet one more flub by OK!, and the story is laughably “untrue.”
Of course, this is hardly the first time the tabloid has dropped the ball when it comes to the superstar singer. Gossip Cop has corrected the outlet on numerous occasions. Most notably, we busted the magazine when it wrongly claimed in a cover story that Swift was in a romantic relationship with model Karlie Kloss.
