Taylor Swift Buying Historical San Francisco Mansion for $18 Million?
Taylor Swift is not buying a historical $18 million mansion in San Francisco, despite reports. A local site claimed the singer “is circling the so-called Koshland Mansion, an illustrious and slowly crumbling Neoclassical villa set amongst the natty nabobs of high-class Presidio Heights, that’s currently on the open market with a $17.995 million asking price.”
At 18,000 square feet, the estate is described as a “a modified replica of Marie Antoinette’s opulently over-the-top Petit Trianon outside of Paris” built in the early 1900s with “8 bedrooms, 5 full and 2 half bathrooms, 9 fireplaces, 4 kitchens, elevator access to all 4 floors, and off-street parking for 7 cars.” And that’s not even including the guesthouse.
But Gossip Cop has exclusively learned that the rumor is completely false. A source close to Swift tells us that the performer “is not buying any more homes, despite how many realtors would like people to think she is in the market.” Oh, snap!
