Taylor Swift NOT Enhancing Her “Booty” To Help Love Life, Despite Insulting Report
Taylor Swift is not trying to enhance her “booty” to help her love life, despite a new report that ridiculously claims the singer thinks a “sexy new shape” will get her more dates. Swift’s rep exclusively tells Gossip Cop that “insinuating that a woman must change her body in order to get a man is everything Taylor stands against.”
The claim was first published in OK!, a magazine that has a long history of insulting Swift with its misleading and false stories about her relationships and career. According to the tabloid, the “Shake It Off” singer is “trying a new butt-enhancing workout” because she has “convinced herself that the cure for what ails her dating life involves getting more back.” The outlet goes on to allege that Swift has taken on a “30-day squat challenge” and is doing “loads of lunges” daily so she will have a “well-rounded rump” in time for her 25th birthday in December.
First of all, OK! is the same outlet that bizarrely reported a fabricated story about how Swift has her cats Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson vet potential boyfriends. The tabloid also wrongly claimed she was “creeping” her friends out by copying their looks, as well as was suffering from writer’s block. Never mind, the countless dating rumors the magazine has seemingly manufactured over the years.
Secondly, Swift is vocal about being a feminist and fighting for equality. The “Welcome to New York” singer recently slammed the “sexist” media for criticizing her songs about romantic relationships. During her appearance on the Australian radio show “Jules, Merrick & Sophie” in October, she noted, “You’re going to have people who are going to say, ‘Oh, you know, like, she just writes songs about her ex-boyfriends.’ And I think frankly that’s a very sexist angle to take.” She added, “No one says that about Ed Sheeran. No one says that about Bruno Mars. They’re all writing songs about their exes, their current girlfriends, their love life, and no one raises the red flag there.”
Regardless, Swift is not trying to change her body to get a man nor is she obsessed with dating and relationships. Her rep tells Gossip Cop exclusively that OK!‘s claims are “absolutely false.”
