CLAIM: Taylor Swift Tried To Hook Up With Bradley Cooper, Only To Be Rejected

Taylor Swift “desperately wants to date” Bradley Cooper, but “he’s just not that into her!” claims RadarOnline, trying to fashion a bogus non-story into something sensational.

The webloid says it’s “exclusively” learned that Swift is trying to hook up with Cooper, supposedly asking his Silver Linings Playbook co-star Jennifer Lawrence to set them up.

But it was not to be.

According to RadarOnline, when Lawrence asked Cooper about Swift, he “said he wasn’t interested and that she was too young for him!”

“Bradley has absolutely no intention of getting together with Taylor,” a so-called “source” tells the outlet, explaining, “First of all, her reputation precedes her. Bradley is very way of dating someone who is a bit of a serial dater like Taylor.”

The blog’s source adds, “He thinks she’s far too young for him and wants to date someone his own age, not 16-years young because he’s ready for something serious.”

“It was a little awkward for Bradley. Jennifer came to him and told him that Taylor was interested in getting together,” the source tells RadarOnline. “He had to politely decline, knowing full well that Jennifer and Taylor are friends.”

Uh-huh.

Here’s what happened: None of this.

RadarOnline saw Cooper shoot down rumors that he and Lawrence were dating, in part, he joked, because “I could be her father.”

So the webloid, which previously concocted a false story about Cooper rejecting Dita Von Teese’s advances, decided it was safe to publish a similar report claiming he’d spurned Swift.

Because Cooper and Swift are not hooking up, RadarOnline manufactured a juicy-sounding narrative in which she’d “desperately” gone after him, only to be denied.

It’s 100 percent false.

A rep for Cooper tells Gossip Cop, “There is no truth to this story at all.”

And sources close to Taylor and Lawrence also say it’s made up.
