Taylor Swift Brings Transgender Model Andreja Pejic On Stage For “Style” During “1989” Chicago Concert — WATCH VIDEO!
Taylor Swift is expanding her squad to include transgender model Andreja Pejic. The pop star invited Pejic on stage with fellow model Lily Donaldson during her concert at Soldier Field in Chicago for her “1989 World Tour” on Sunday. See the photo right, and the video below!
“Tonight @andrejapejic and @LilyMDonaldson SHUT DOWN the runway. Crowd went insane!! #1989tourchicago,” Swift tweeted afterward, alongside a photo of her standing between Pejic and Donaldson. As Gossip Cop reported earlier this year, in April Pejic became the first transgender model in to land a four-page spread in Vogue. Swift celebrated the honor on stage when she introduced Pejic to the crowd.
Of course, having Pejic and Donaldson walk the “1989” runway during “Style” wasn’t the only surprise the singer had for her fans. She also invited Sam Hunt to perform his song “Take Your Time.” On Saturday, for the first of Swift’s two-night run in Chicago, Swift had “Empire” actress Serayah help her perform “Style,” and she also invited Andy Grammer to sing his song “Honey, I’m Good.” Serayah also appears in the “Bad Blood” video, as Gossip Cop has reported.
At virtually every concert date on the tour so far, Swift has been bringing out celebrity friends. Last week, Nick Jonas performed “Jealous” during a New Jersey show, and she also had “Orange Is The New Black” star Uzo Aduba, Martha Hunt, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge, Candice Swanepoel and Adamn Levine’s wife Behati Prinsloo all walk her concert runway.
