Taylor Swift opened the 2013 Grammys with “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”

The performance featured a circus theme, with acrobats and clowns dancing around ringleader Swift as she sang her hit.

At one moment, she seemed to adopt a British accent when pretending to be an ex calling up to say, “I still love you.”

    I never understood people hating on ones success just because it ain’t their cup of tea.

    But in this case I kinda get it. I don’t mind her success although I don’t get it. I am soooo tired of seeing her face every other time I turn on the TV. She aint all that!!! Carrie Underwood is 100 times more talented with a prettier voice not to mention Kelly Clarkson, Adele, and many others.

    i also don’t get why she’s a “country” star just because some of her music are acoustic doesn’t make it a country music, it’s pop.

    It doesn’t even sound like a British accent.. It sounds like she’s just making a sarcastic mans voice. Just millions of people making something out of nothing. She is a beautiful (maybe not to everyone) 23 year old with lots of money and the power to do what she wants, when she wants. She is playing the field, and uses songwriting as her journal just like people who go on Facebook and put their every life detail in their statuses. And I love how people who probably can’t sing at all complain about her “vocal strain.”

    This was definitely an interesting performance; I loved the circus theme and also the phone conversation. I was at work at DISH when the Grammys where on so I recorded the show on my DVR. I set up my DISH Hopper using the PrimeTime Anytime feature to record all primetime programming that came on CBS on Sunday. This way I didn’t have to worry about remembering to set up an individual timer.
