We’ve heard of rushing to the altar, but this is absurd.

“Just weeks after winning approval from country star Taylor Swift‘s mom to date her daughter, ‘Twilight’ hunk Taylor Lautner has proposed!” the National Enquirer declares.

Uh-huh.

So what kind of details does the tab provide about what it labels his quickie “marry me” to Swift?

None.

The Enquirer reports the the families urged Swift and Lautner to get to know each other better “before taking such a big step.”

So the tab makes its “proposal” claim… and then hides behind the convenient excuse that it was the parents standing in the way of marriage.

Um, how about truth?

Obviously, Taylor Lautner never proposed to Taylor Swift, and to underscore that his representative told Gossip Cop this ridiculous rumor is “absolutely not true.”
