Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel had an unpleasant surprise after Sunday’s SAG Awards — a burglar in their Los Angeles residence.

The couple discovered a home invader, later identified as Hassan Juma, lurking in their garage shortly after 11 p.m.

Law enforcement sources say the perpetrator tried to flee the scene, but Diggs chased him down and detained the would-be thief until police arrived.

Juma was taken into custody and is still jailed, with bail set at $50,000.

The lesson: Don’t mess with Taye Diggs.
