Tate Stevens got a huge vote of confidence on Wednesday’s “X Factor,” with Simon Cowell saying the country singer is already deserving of the show’s top prize.

Stevens performed Shania Twain’s “From This Moment On,” and left the judges in awe.

“The winner of this show is going to get $5 million dollars. I’d be happy to write you that check,” Cowell told him.

Britney Spears called the performance “so heartfelt,” and added that Stevens’ vocals “were amazing.”

Demi Lovato, meanwhile, was left nearly speechless.

“Ugh, you’re so good,” she managed to say. “You’re very good.”

And Stevens’ mentor, L.A. Reid, just let his smile speak for itself.
