Taraji P. Henson And Terrence Howard NOT At “War” On ‘Empire’ Set, Despite Report
Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard are not at “war” nor is the actor “jealous” of his “Empire” co-star, despite a completely fabricated report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the claim, which began in one of the tabloids this week. Henson’s rep tells us the entire premise of the story is 100 percent not true.
According to Star, “The claws are out” between Howard and Henson, and it has gotten pretty tense between the two behind-the-scenes at “Empire.” The tabloid quotes a so-called “insider” as saying, “Terrence is jealous that Taraji is getting so much airtime and will barely speak to her if the cameras aren’t rolling.”
Then, dredging up how Howard had domestic situations with spouses years ago, incidents for which he’s taken responsibility and apologized, the magazine’s seemingly fictitious source says subsequent allegations against the actor have made Henson “uncomfortable.” The unnamed “source” claims Henson “knows about his violent history and doesn’t want to push the wrong buttons. She doesn’t really want anything to do with him.”
Wait, wasn’t the original premise of the tabloid’s manufactured story that Howard is “jealous” of Henson’s airtime? Somehow, while making up drama where there is none between the two actors, Star lost track of its bogus claim and instead turned the focus of the supposed tension to Henson being afraid of Howard.
Either way, Gossip Cop is exclusively told the story is entirely untrue. A rep for Henson says, “Terrence and Taraji are the best of friends and professional colleagues.” Gossip Cop wishes that Star would just leave the creative drama writing to the professionals at “Empire.”
