Tamar Braxton Earns Highest Score On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ (VIDEO)
Tamar Braxton and partner Val Chmerkovskiy nabbed the highest score from the judges on Tuesday’s “Dancing With The Stars” after performing the Charleston to “Living In New York City” by Robin Thicke during the second “Hometown Glory Night.” Watch the video below.
“That was the funkiest Charleston I have ever seen on this show,” judge Carrie Ann Inaba told them. “You killed it. You were so dynamic.” Bruno Tonioli also praised the pair, exclaiming, “That was so uplifting, so energizing.” Tamar and Val were the final couple to perform on Thursday night’s two hour live episode. Up until they took the floor, Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess had the night’s best score.
As Gossip Cop previously noted, Tamar and Val have been near the top of the leaderboard all season. They scored 23 out of 30 possible points on the season 21 premiere episode and 24 out of 30 on Monday night. Eliminations are based on a combination of judges scores and viewer votes.
