Tahani, Comfort “So You Think You Can Dance” Video: Watch “BANJI” Baseball Bat Hip-Hop Dance!
Tahani and Comfort did a fierce “BANJI” hip-hop dance with baseball bats during “So You Think You Can Dance” on Monday. Check out the video below!
As Gossip Cop has reported, Tahani has been a spitfire on “SYTYCD” since her audition, where she infamously threw up on Paula Abdul. While her subsequent appearances thankfully have not included vomit, the pint-sized hip-hop dancer has brought an incredible personality to the stage week after week. And after the “Next Generation” competition went on hiatus for the Olympics, she came back for tonight’s live episode with more energy than ever.
That worked well for Tahani’s newest routine with her “All-Star” partner Comfort Fedoke, which was described as “Girl Scouts go bad.” The two were to personify “BANJI,” which stands for “Be Authentic, Never Jeopardize Individuality.” And, with the help of baseball bats, that’s exactly what they did.
“You inspire everybody when you dance like that, my darling,” Nigel Lyhtgoe told Tahani afterward. “You will never lose your individuality.” Paula Abdul amusingly said, “The two of you are fierce. And the outfits tonight are amazing. Do they make them in my size?” She further praised, “Tahani, you keep improving every single week.”
Maddie Ziegler commented, “I think ‘BANJI’ is the perfect word for you guys, because you’re so special.” And Jason Derulo told Tahani, “I think your character flips was the most impressive about this one.” He even played ball with the pun, “I think you came out swinging this time.” Watch below!
